4″ Pit Strainer

The Mountain Road Strainer Co 4” Pit Strainer is designed to clear debris off the strainers cage as it pulls water through it. The pumps exhaust air is pushed through an internal coiled pipe with deliberately placed holes along it. The air exhausts through these holes which, in turn, pushes the debris off the strainer to keep it clear.

The strainers shape allows for it to be used in many different environments. Our 4” Pit Strainer is ideal for larger areas of water make that require the use of larger pumps.

The 4” Pit Strainer is available in both mild steel and stainless. We also provide all needed hoses and fittings to get you set up and pumping.
