2″ Pit Strainer (4.8mm hole)

The Mountain Road Strainer Co PIT STRAINER is designed to clear debris off the strainers cage as it pulls water through it. The pumps exhausted air is pushed through an internal coiled pipe with deliberately placed holes along it. The air exhausts through these holes which, in turn, pushes the debris off the strainer to keep it clear.

The strainers shape allows for it to be used in many different environments. It will have no issues being dropped into an auger hole or into a sump. It can also be used for large roadway water make. We consider this strainer to very much be an all rounder.

The smaller holes in the 4.5mm Hole Pit Strainer offer extra protection when you are pumping water with smaller debris.
