Welcome to Mountain Road Strainer Co
Mountain Road was founded by two underground coal miners from the South Coast of New South Wales. With nearly two decades of experience maintaining underground roadways and pumping systems. We have always been deeply passionate and proud of their work. Mountain Road is fully Australian-owned and operated, and we proudly support local industries by using Australian manufacturers and steel, giving back to the community that we call home.

Through work and experience, we noticed areas of the pumping system that were in need of some major improvements so he developed a new type of pump strainer. The idea for the Self Clearing Strainers was developed. Our strainers at Mountain Road are designed to utilise the air exhaust or the dewater blow out valve on any compressed air driven double diaphragm pump. It can use either of these processes to clear away debris from the face of the strainer and prevent excessive debris build up which usually results in the complete blockage of the strainer.
